I ran Orbonne Monastery with relative ease today. Smooth as butter run until I made a joke about seeing Ultima's baps when she casts. Most of my alliance ran up close to look, and got knocked out by the pillar. Works every time. AITA?

I put a burger in the oven.. then I queue'd as healer into brayflox. I didn't mean to queue though, was gonna do it after my burger is ready. I can eat and play very effectively without any hindrance to my performance. It was after the first boss that I remembered my burger being in the oven..oops. Cue me jumping out of my seat between pulls to rush to my kitchen to turn off the oven and then again to toss my burger in the fridge and one more time to make sure I turned the oven off before jumping back into my seat like a kangaroo for the final time.
No deaths.

Queued for a level 80 dungeon with SCH. Get Akadaemia Anyder. The GNB tank, in full crafted/market gear, takes off. He picks up all the adds before the door and spams Demon Slice. No follow-up skill (Demon Slaughter) or Fated Circle. Uses absolutely no defensive CDs. Somehow, I manage to keep him alive.
After, I remind him to use some CDs, assuming he is a newer tank that bought all his gear or one that assumed high level gear = no need for CDs. He doesn't reply, but from that point does start to use a CD, Camouflage. No Rampart, no Nebula, nothing. Any further comments have no impact on his play. We finally reach the end. No wipes. Before he leaves, he says "lucky we made it with with those ****ty heals"

Culinarian skill 100 right there.I put a burger in the oven.. then I queue'd as healer into brayflox. I didn't mean to queue though, was gonna do it after my burger is ready. This one is beyond your help. Only sleep can save her now.

Sometimes, when I see someone who just HAS to leave with a remark like that, just before exiting, I think- why don't they just stick to solo player games? Wouldn't they just be happier anyway? Sad, they're just treating the party like NPCs.Queued for a level 80 dungeon with SCH. Get Akadaemia Anyder. The GNB tank, in full crafted/market gear, takes off. If you meet a Tank in a lv80 dungeon who is not using cd's, just let him die. If its a new player he will learn. If he is not new then he deserves it. But honestly no one is new on lv80Queued for a level 80 dungeon with SCH. Get Akadaemia Anyder. The GNB tank, in full crafted/market gear, takes off. Question: Are people actively spiritbounding again?
Cause i see more and more weird combinations in DF like DCN with Spellspeed or PLD with Piety materia melded.
Even in lv80 normal raids.
(Kinda reminds me of the old spiritbounding days back in ARR.)
now that we don't lose the gear to do it, it makes a certain bit of sense, come to think of it

Wouldn't it make even more sense to meld actually useful materia though? Especially with combat materia being dime a dozen.
I guess piety at least fits PLD thematically, but I can't come up with any reason why a DNC would go for spell speed.
You don't get benefits from materia when synced down so it doesn't matter which one you meld. The spiritbond bonus is still active, though. So it makes sense to just meld whatever is cheapest and SpS, Tenacity and Piety are always the cheapest.
