Just because you don't agree that there is a problem doesn't make it a troll post. There have also been some troll posts that sparked some very thoughtful and constructive discussion.

Some of us agree that Road to 70 causes problems in its current form. It deserves discussion about how it impacts the game experience and what changes could make it better.

For me, having an alt means I dont have to keep buying potions for $10 or waiting till it's on sale to switch to a cat, elvaan, bunny, or hume. I like the design of my Vierra, but I miss my cat. And I really don't feel like spending so much money to keep changing when I can just level the alt with the same stuff, and do away with the idea altogether.

Level does not matter. Put on gear of a lower level and then fight a mob at yours- you will struggle if not die. The only thing you get access to at a higher level you don't at a lower is skills- and yes- sync gets rid of even that advantage.

You don't even know what literally means. I already stated why level matters. Yet ignore everything that was stated. And go back to the EXACT same thing that you already said. That I already responded to. While using literally over and over out of context. And no matter what anybody says on the face of the earth, it still does not change the point regarding what was already made clear about level sync. So to clarify it better if you're not getting it:

FACT = Playing one job doing nothing more than main content = you have not gone out of your way to level up past main content = you should never be past the level requirements of main content = never getting level synced. This fact is not how the game is functioning at default. And all the much worse with double exp. Level is extremely important. Because it is what progression is based on.

Even if it was perfectly fine to synch a user playing a single class on their own quest, there's everything else that you COMPLETELY IGNORED that makes syncing completely and utterly irrelevant to anything.

This is not the issue of level sync but how jobs are balanced. Level sync works fine

Sorry, but not once have I ever seen level sync working fine. The idea behind it is great, but when getting synced you're still too powerful. I mean if they simply just alter syncing to place the synced users to the actual level they're getting synced to rather than a few levels above, then yes. Why they place the synced user a few levels above is beyond me. But yes it does work to an extent that they are getting synced closer to the level. But this is till not working fine.

Please link me to where it is stated, as a fact, that you absolutely should be at one certain type of level doing nothing but main story and job content.

Facts are objective truths with no room for interpretation. You needing to be at one certain level doing one certain type of thing is not a fact; that is your bias from how an MMO should be designed talking. If it was a fact, I wouldn't even be arguing why you're wrong because there's no measure of subjectivity.

And if you're wondering why you're still "too strong on sync" then please keep in mind even if you were at the appropriate level, all you would need is the strongest gear for that level and you'd be equally as strong. That gear being... whatever you find in the dungeon you're running.

Also, want to know a fun fact? I levelled up my character without road to 70. Want to know what my levels looked like? I had a level 50 black mage around level 30 content, had a level 50 dragoon by the time I did Praetorium and, on the side, I'd levelled up a conjurerer to just barely be a level 34 white mage.

That's 3 competently levelled classes even without being done in ARR without this "punishment" you seem to resent so much. Forgive me if I don't think you have much of a leg to stand on.

You're still locked storywise and development wise for the 50 through 60 stuff.
Trying to speak on behalf of all new players is just selfishness to the nth degree, If you don't like the buff nothing is stopping you from creating on a world without one.

Avoid sanctuary bonus(x1.5) by logging out in non sanctuary areas is the best I could think of.

I think you can also transfer to a world that doesn't have the bonus, and it wont carry over. I havent tested this theory out, but I imagine that since it's based on the server itself, it wouldn't xfer

I love this buff and making alts see how stupid high level i can be in ARR had a BLM at lvl 56 before Haukke manor .
PVP roulette is also crazy exp on road to 70 its like 7 levels at 30 if you win,
also wolf marks good way to gear up at 50 so can save poetics for 60-70 gear.
