It already is an option, just not one that players like because apartments are so small.
As for transferring an instanced house plot (assuming they ever became available) to a ward plot, I don't see that happening especially since an instanced system would allow every player to have a house without stressing out server resources. Instanced housing also doesn't require a demolition system to free up space for other players to be able to get a house. It should be possible for a player to have both a ward plot plus multiple instanced plots if they wanted.
Those who wanted a house in a ward could still compete for them but the demand would be greatly lower because ward houses would always be subject to demolition due to their limited quantities, which would be a deterrent to those who just want a bigger space for their character's home.
Agreed. Possibility of multiple instanced housing + possibility of one house in ward subject to demolition. Why not. Sounds right by me.
If they allowed me to switch my house to its own instance I'd drop my neighborhood plot asap provided I got to keep my instanced house indefinitely.
I'm sorry, but it's it not possible for Square to employ the use of expanding server capacity ala Amazon server services? Part of me thinks this while server capacity liability is either A) them just being cheap or B) them not wanting the game hosted outside of SquareEnix for security or something... Either way they need to invest in their own servers or bite the bullet and use Amazon expanding servers.
Honestly, that wont happen, and they are not biting the bullet, there is plenty of housing, none of them is really being used at all, most of the wards is ghost townsm add an upkeep on having a house plot instead, so you actually need to do something active in game to keep your property.I'm sorry, but it's it not possible for Square to employ the use of expanding server capacity ala Amazon server services? Out of curiosity, how do you determine whether a house is being used or not?Honestly, that wont happen, and they are not biting the bullet, there is plenty of housing, none of them is really being used at all, most of the wards is ghost townsm add an upkeep on having a house plot instead, so you actually need to do something active in game to keep your property.
Just One question: is it true that 22th jan will be a demolition and we will be able to get M or L houses??Honestly, that wont happen, and they are not biting the bullet, there is plenty of housing, none of them is really being used at all, most of the wards is ghost townsm add an upkeep on having a house plot instead, so you actually need to do something active in game to keep your property.
It is possible medium and large house will go poof as well. Be sure to check at the top of the hour that is when demo usually takes place. Those will certainly go to relocations and not sitting clicking on their placards.
