I think the fastest I've seen is maybe 13-14 minutes. As a tank I pull wall to wall so it mostly just depends on the dps.

Yeah. I've seen 13-14 minutes with good groups a couple of times.
Just over 12 (it was like twelve minutes and 7 seconds, according to the chat log) was absurd; like I said, it felt like seeing a unicorn. One of those rare, shining moments when a group of strangers comes together and just clicks, where literally everyone in the party is performing at their peak. I will almost assuredly never see it again (in any duty, much less that one specifically), but for one moment, I glimpsed the roulette equivalent of the Promised Land.
(In all honesty, I think where we gained time over the 13 minute runs was predominantly in the Necromancer fight, though it wouldn't have been enough to make up the entire difference on its own. At any rate, I do not know how, but we killed her just before the second tethered zombie mechanic would go off -- the one where they grab you, pin you in place, then explode. We were pinned, but she died before they exploded. I've seen many runs where she died before the third tether mechanic, where the two types of tether are combined—honestly, in most runs I don't see that mechanic start at all any more—but I don't think I've seen her die during the second one before or since. I half-suspect one of the DPS reflexively popped a raid pot during the pull or something, and that's what shaved the time off.)

I aim to make my posts engaging and entertaining, even when you might not agree with me. And failing that, I'll just be very, VERY wordy.Originally Posted by Packetdancer

PSA: if you are ever in The Burn, are frozen because of unlucky positioning from the transition, and the only person that is unfrozen does not free you, the last boss is very likely to pick you for Touchdown. In the event you are at the epicenter as a caster class, you will take over 50k damage, and more than likely will die.
That is all.
This one is beyond your help. Only sleep can save her now.

I got called 'bug girl' today while duty rouletting. Do I look like a bug? Play like a bug? The game was running smooth I wasn't even bugging.![]()
I do not understand why people are so quick to blame others. Friend needed quicker times so we got together I was healing and another friend was tanking giving our dps buddy an instant pop. We had no issue doing wall to wall pulls, after the run I felt like playing my DNC and we end up with a healer that was blaming us for not be able to handle large pulls. We were laughing in discord while they kept telling us that the group was not geared enough for large pulls.
Funny thing is if the healer had just mentioned that they were not comfortable with large pulls we would have been more inclined to accommodate them. Instead they made the choice to blame them group for their own shortcomings. This made me laugh.

Were they just looking at gear or was the trash taking a long time to die and the healer struggling to heal through it? Was the party taking a lot of damage? Was it a leveling dungeon? Because if they just inspected everyone and declared 'you guys are paper, no big pulls for you' that was pretty messed up but if they honestly looked because hp was see-sawing despite their efforts then I could maybe see that argument.I do not understand why people are so quick to blame others. Item level is a much argued topic on this forum but if the healer didn't even give the group a chance to prove its competence then yeah. That was pretty petty of them.

It was HW leveling and the healer was struggling not sure why cause I healed the same tank with zero effort. Mobs were dying thst is why we ignored the healers remarks and kept doing large as possible pulls. Thing that made it funny for us every complaint they had was moot cause I was able to heal them without issues the run before. I guess that is what makes it interesting since at times you run into healers that say certain players are hard to heal and have no baseline for it. Though in this case I personally did have a baseline as I did heal said tank and we also happened to have used the same class granted my DNC is not fully geared in for 80 content but for a HW dungeon in a leveling. Were they just looking at gear or was the trash taking a long time to die and the healer struggling to heal through it? If the heals wanted smaller pulls all they had to do was be honest and say they could not handle it. But for some reason they thought it was better to say everyone else is at fault. Seems weird to me.
