Whenever this topic comes up it always reminds me of Apple a few years ago when they made their shuffle function less random...to make it more random.

Because the purpose of random is it’s randomness. You can get something once, twice, three times maybe even four in a row because each shot is a random chance. Unfortunately, getting the same dungeon that many times a week in a roulette doesn’t feel random. So apple applied this to iTunes and made it so these sequences of random consistency don’t appear. It removed randomness to create randomness. It’s normally the same thing people ask for on these threads.

It’s like if you run TotoRak Monday. The game should know and not give you it again for another 2 weeks. But that’s 14 dungeons removed from the roulette Making it less of a roulette and less random. Funny old thing.
