    I just wish the Ishgardian Restoration focused only on Coerthan/ Dravanian themed glamour. The glamour OP mentions could have been map, cash shop, or Gold Saucer related. The Restoration was really the last chance for Ishgardian glamour.

    A: In older MMOs, such as Ultima Online, there was a house maintenance fee you had to pay weekly, but in FFXIV: ARR we decided against this system. Similarly, these older MMOs also had a system where your house would break down if you didn’t log in after a while in order to have you continue your subscription, but this is a thing of the past and we won't have any system like that.

    They are. Item level one, require you to use them on a level 80 crafting job depending on which one you buy. They 100% missed the mark on this one and did the exact opposite of what people have been asking for. It's totally not like we've told them time and time again that Doh/Dol AF are useless because we don't have enough plates and because the bloody Doh/Dol classes share universal gear.

    Combat artifact is defensible because there's more than just a single universal set, but this time they didn't even make this stuff augmented. It's just item level 1, Dyable, and class locked because Yoshida and the team are that out of touch with their playerbase and need to really re-evaluate the glamour system as a whole.

    But honestly, I can’t take the “break my immersion” argument seriously anymore. So much things have been added for the joy of many, it shouldn’t be an issue anymore. Let people who want to wear school uniforms or modern clothes wear them. It’s here to stay and more will be added

    Just ignore it I guess?
