Leaders of Lindblum

I think the top JP LS leaders have formed a linkshell for deciding on which server to move to. If you can get a hold of them that would be an awesome way to keep Lindblum together.

Many Japanese linkshells will meet tomorrow and the day after tomorrow. The people I talked to seemed interested in sticking with the NA/EU community.

I've gone through all of the English server-specific sub-forums and written down what seem to be the trends for each server. This is by no means a complete or accurate list, just what I've noticed from the discussions going on there.

Also please remember that this is the English-speaking community only. Judging by this site that Reinheart posted in his translations thread, the JP community has a very different plan.

I'll keep this updated as new info. emerges. I'm not sure if this will even be useful, but it's something we should try and keep in mind. For example, server 2 doesn't seem to be getting any love! If too many servers trying to stay together like ours choose server 5, for example, we could have a situation on our hands where it fills up too quickly and people get left out. So let's try and keep this as balanced as possible!

Selbina + Lindblum would be a decent server and Chrees same type of info I have been seeing also for where servers will be heading..

Dropping a suggestion btw. Lindblum could easily head to Server 9. You know, 10 perfect Final Fantasies (before the Squeenix fail era...), 10 servers. Quite easy to designate each number for each corresponding FF title. Leaves small room for errors too. And servers names from the same numbered title go to the same number obviously.

Of course you cannot easily include server names in the numbers beyond X in this way.

As someone who wishes to play with the RP community, and since they are going with server9 at the moment, I support this idea. :P

There is already a huge shift towards server 5 for majority of Lindblum/Selbina LS's... and like others have stated 9 is becoming the Unofficial RP server again.. which seems to be a minority of the active players imo.. I feel a push for server 5 would be a great bet for a good active friendly community..

This would be a nice theory, but Selbina (which is from FFXI, obviously) is one of the most populous servers, and they're naming the new servers after the current top 10. Rabanastre, while not very big with the JP community, has a very large NA community, and will probably also make the cut.

What they're probably going to do is just randomly choose which server gets which name.

I agree, 5 seems to be the number most people are pushing for at the moment, and we should stick with it so that other servers trying to decide where to go can choose another number to keep the populations relatively balanced. Gotta stake our claim ASAP!

Exactly my thoughts.. and hopefully there isn't overpopulation.. would be very sad for members to get left out because other servers are trying to push for 5 as well.. we as a whole community from every server need to try and accomodate eachother, so we can make populated servers for everyone and have that stable community we all desire

My problem with 5 is that if selbina does end up there, its one of the largest servers already. Assuming the majority of the server decides to come with, can these new servers support 2 big-dogs? I wish we had some better numbers to work with.
