    I remember when people used to get pissy at me for not DPSing. It's not that I refused to DPS, it was because their dumb asses were either failing mechanics or they were tanking without the tank stance, back when being in a tank stance actually meant higher defense.

    I mean, you never needed tank stance in any content. Even Ultimate, tanks primarily stayed in DPS stance. There's a reason they axed it this expansion.

    Technically they didn't axe it, you just can't switch it off anymore.

    I mean you would have a point about tank stance if the optimal way to play was in tank stance. Back then it was optimal to always have dps stance up, much like it is to dps between healing

    When the tank is getting his ass kicked and I don't have time to DPS? And he throws in a snarky "Nobody likes a healer who doesn't DPS" at the end of the run? I think I do have a point. I can't put into words how stupid it was for the tank to not have tank stance on, and pull half the dungeon. You know what that means? I blink my eyes, and he's down to 10% health.

    EDIT: And don't even get me started on the DPS stance. It was annoying.
