It has been a long and hard struggle to get my other hair from Borzja sold (windcaller), I sold it previously for a good price, so I put my second hair up for the same price. Little did I know this would be a field of epic battle. This guy decided he would undercut me last night, an undercut of my original undercut. I promptly undercut him, then he undercut me again, so I undercut him again, then he undercut me again, then I undercut him again! I was about ready to go full scorched earth, I was willing to go into borzja just to buy hairs, so I could flood the market and tank the price, scorched earth, so none of us could win... then I logged in not too long ago to see. I won the war. I got him. I actually got him. My hair sold. His is still sitting there on the marketboard!

I guess this person didn't realize the lengths I would go to get the gil I needed for a new glam. I don't blame them. That's what I did today. I won a war.

The feeling of winning an undercutting war is truly something special. That happens every so often with me, usually with materia or random crafting materials, but I will sit there until it all sells. I will NOT be defeated by some random AH Warrior. I'm not above using the "scorched earth" policy though, but that usually applies to items I've been trying to sell for 3-4 days. I'm running 9 retainers for ventures. Things have to go. If I still have inventory that hasn't sold by then it all goes into the bargain bin. If I need to mark it all down further I will. No regrets.
