Possible Ideas to Address Hrothgar/Viera Hat Disparity?

Just a more current update of their same stance on the subject. The problem with that question is they asked "headgear" rather than hats. Viera already have support for headgear that isn't hats! Nothing new was learned! The community had a chance and blew it with that question!

I'm assuming the question was asked in Japanese so I can't say how specific the wording was on that end. But even if the question was literally about "headgear", unless he was being purposefully obtuse I'd wager he knew what was being asked and answered accordingly.

But then the question about glamour restrictions being loosened was misconstrued into asking about axes on black mages, so who knows?

but still gotta wonder why newer gear doesnt have built in earholes.

I don't think they do many custom models for Miqo'te anymore either, so it's probably too much work to adapt the hairstyles and make custom models just for Viera and/or Hrothgar.
