I wish they stop taking my ears off said hats. Like the new baseball cap. I can never wear it because my ears get chopped off. Like female heads are small enough WITH the ears, taking them off makes the heads look even smaller and unnatural. Stop it Square!!! Or make the heads of all your female races BIGGER.

It seems to be an increasing thing for Miqo'te and it's really frustrating. It's acceptable for loose-fitting hats that look like there would be room for ears inside without a dedicated shape for them, but it's increasingly happening with close-fitting hats and it just looks uncomfortable for them. Plus they look more like humans instead of half-cats, but with a weird lack of ears.

Lots of older hats have the ears visible so I don't know why they're not just doing that.

Because so many hats don't display on viera, in the future it might be a good idea to confirm the piece you've set your eye on actually displays before you expand the effort to get it.
Two of the best tools I've found for this are:

I mean... If dwarwen helmets can hide Au Ra horns (not sure about Viera ears tho), I don't see why this helmet can't do that either.

Can confirm dwarf helmets work on Viera, but because they replace the head with that bearded abomination. Helmets that replace the head work just fine on Viera.

Save on time probably. If they can't even do miqo'te ears anymore, I doubt we will ever get them doing Viera ears.

having the viera ears dissapear just wouldn't make sense, mi'quote ears are small enough that they could maybe me tucked under a helmet, viera ears are too big for that.

I really liked the older style of hats that had holes for the ears. Just give me those.

Having just noticed this in the opening post...

If Miqo'te ears disappear when the helmet is on and for Aura they clip, why can't the ears of Viera disappear too, same for the horns of Aura? Cause having 4 pairs of horns is ugly af, just to let you know.

Heck no, a hat should not be able to conceal Au Ra's solid horns which are attached with bone to their skulls as if they were floppy ears you can stuff into a hat.

Ideally all the headgear would be altered to accomodate the horns properly instead of just clipping through, but making them vanish is far worse.

If you think they look bad with four horns, just don't wear headgear that has horns on it.

Same with tail-holes. A lot of older gear had design allowances for the races with tails but they've just stopped doing that. It's kind of annoying.

Occasionally (at least for females) we get like a bow for the tail, but yeah no actual hole for it. Just clips through, but at least they sometimes have a little effort.
