This right here is more about wanting equality than anything else. I don't think that is unreasonable.
Equality? If we want to go there RDM, SAM, DNC, and GNB will all start at 30 and a have full fledged out job quests through all those levels just like what DRK, AST, and MCH got with their inceptions.
Are we still within the realm of reason?
...For weapon glamours. That is what this was about. You're reaching. I am still within the realm of reason. I'm sorry your comment on a public forum was partially disagreed with?
I hope this wasn't meant to be some weird "gotcha" comment because, I'd honestly enjoy that.
But heaven forbid people would like all jobs to get equal treatment for glamour in a game where people often joke about glamour being the true endgame.
I quoted and responded to several rants from the OP, so I'll retreat to my original point about priorities. It's not that I don't want equal treatment for the jobs in the game, and that is actually why I "reached", and expressed exactly how equal I would like them to be. But if I was to be in charge of where SE's resources are allocated and have the choice between filling the gaps in old content, or releasing new weapons for everyone, I will always choose the latter.
My response to Vahlnir applies here as well. I have no quarrel with any player who wants to vent or otherwise express their dissatisfaction within the game. In fact, I think this is extremely important. However, my air towards the OP was response in-kind to his sarcastic tone, and following by echoing issues that reek of a lack of appreciation. He even ranted about an abundance of new content at one point, and I'm just like, "really?"
Thinking back on it now, I suppose I could be missing or dismissing a portion of the playerbase willing to forego new content so the devs can fill in the gaps. However, gaps are created with every expansion, and the effort and time to homogenize previous expansions each time a new one is released is extremely costly.
Honestly, tone is everything. Your tone left a lot to be desired. You came across as super abrasive in response to my post. Admittedly, my rough draft returned the favor, but I opted to take a more civil tone with my post in the end.I quoted and responded to several rants from the OP, so I'll retreat to my original point about priorities.
