All lalafells in the game have appearances remotely similar to children(They are disproportionately stocky)but are adults.

They could be compared to the "I'm a 1,000 year old demon with the appearance of a prepubescent human" trope

Not within the scope of the game, no. Momodi has multiple admirers of different races and there's even a tract in Gubal library where a Roe confesses love for Brayflox the gobbie. Lalafels can be 'cute' but they are adults.

Now if you were attracted to an actual child NPC like Chloe, that might be worrying.

The Leveilleur twins are also pretty young, they're another example of characters that are actually more illegal than lalafell. No doubt it wouldn't be difficult to find people who thirst on 'em anyway.

I have a feeling that romance with a member of a beast tribe race would probably raise a few eyebrows, though... although, I do wonder sometimes about those Ananta.
