Damn guys, someone tell Yoshi they need to remove DRK, PLD, WAR, NIN, GNB because we have Blacksmith. Can't have any of those classes use things a Blacksmith can make, wait, then there's Carpenter... and Goldsmith... and... Actually just tell him he needs to remove all classes, we're all crafters now.
I mean have you ever heard of anything as silly as a profession making something so another profession can use it in combat? Ridiculous, I mean the thought of one guy making potions and medical supplies and another taking those into battle to use? utterly impossible.

A chemist... is an alchemist... it’s the same thing. And honestly in battle I don’t think we’ve got time for you to be rubbing lotion into my skin to make me better.... a blacksmith has nothing to do with a dark knight or paladin in anyway.

I think the distinction they're trying to make is they want something in the vein of a magical(?) pharmacist.
