    The issue isn't that it's patch day. In previous patch updates, even major ones, people were able to log in through the launcher and even update the game. For patch 5.4, people seem to be unable to do this due to the aforementioned error.

    Edit: Good news, everyone! It's been fixed.

    No, with major patches there's always been a period when even the download servers are offline. I remember for certain there was one with 5.3 since I reported the patch being available to my FC's Discord.
