    Real CC would go a long way to make this game great again. I don’t really touch anything other than BLU anymore, and it’s really made me realize that one BIG reason our jobs lack flavor these days is the lack of CC mechanics. Tank and spank at the gate while AoE down mobs is really what we have grown accustomed to and it feels awful. How about new dungeon mechanics that make you have to defend an objective, and enemies have to be slowed down with binds, heavy, sleep, or freeze? Dare I say it- maybe Black Mage’s freeze should actually freeze. Or having incredibly dangerous enemies that will wipe your party if you pull them on top of trash- some that say, will relentlessly target the healer? Fluid Aura has NEVER been useful and I’m honestly impressed it’s made it this far. Oh well. I won’t hold my breath.

    CC skills do exist with Head Graze, Foot Graze, leg Graze, sleep, Low Sweep ect but besides very select times there is no need for it disregarding PVP

The fairy wouldn’t be able to heal while charming the mob.

    Or how about ast undraw does something useful like tosses all cards at an enemy for a stun?
    We had lots of CC in ARR. Yoshi-P has continuously said they are working towards simplifying the game.
    Sadly, this seems to be working as it's drawing many players in.

    Fluid Aura was very useful in its first iteration when it dealt damage. The second iteration kept the knock back andnaas good for repositioning adds (and the A4S boss, lol). Then they removed that, too, and made it completely useless as most things are immune to the bind.

    Give it its knockback effect back so we can knock ranged enemies into the mosh pit when the tank can't be bothered to notice nobody's AoEs are hitting the one out of range mob.

    I always thought it would be interesting if Fluid Aura became a lower level version of Assize, that eventually upgrades to it. It would fit the aesthetic and free up a button space for a brand new skill. And it would allow for WHM to get a feel for using such a skill at a lower level.

    I like helping people with their Job ideas, it's fun to help them visuallize and create the job they'd like to play most. Plus I make my own too, I'll post them eventually.

    Veteran healers don't care if we need to heal, but right now we don't. We want interesting things to do during the downtime other than a 30s dot and a single filler spell that hasn't changed from lvl 4 to lvl 90.
    Dead DPS do no DPS. Raised DPS do 25/50% lower DPS. Do the mechanics and don't stand in bad stuff.
    Other games expect basic competence, FFXIV is pleasantly surprised by it. Other games have toxic elitism. FFXIV has toxic casualism.[/LIST]

    Hell, give 8% MP back on Fluid Aura because low level mana regen sucks. Found this out as well by doing some mentor roulette on my SCH and not having Atherflow until lvl 45 leads to some major MP issues.

    AST: Gets 8% MP back on Draw (30s CD)
    WHM: Gets 8% MP back on Fluid Aura (Also is a 30s CD)
    SCH: Give them Aetherflow at lvl 30 or sooner
