Whereas the only con I can see is related to a race that is not part of the game. Otherwise, the waiting game can apply to both sides.
People are only booking weeks off work for patch releases because there's so much content they're made to feel obligated to rush through and they literally can't do it and work at the same time.

There is absolutely no harm in delaying it by a week. You've waited 6 months already, 1 extra week is nothing, and when there's consistently a 1 week delay, then you've got the same period of time between savage tiers anyway.
