Plus SCH MP management is still heavily reliant on your party.
If you need to spend a lot of AF on healing, you're not just missing out on dps but on 500-1500 MP from ED per minute from AF alone aswell. In good parties low Piety and ressing is fine, in bad parties that MP loss quickly adds up to the point where you are forced to do book slaps.
They cut MP management from mobility for AST, I wouldn't be surprised if they take a look into SCHs MP management via ED aswell. Escpecially with the more expensive GCD heals.

I feel a return of Quickened Aetherflow and possibly gaining 1K MP with Dissipation (since you technically just refilled stacks as if you used the Aetherflow ability itself) could help with the MP management issues.

Interesting. I wonder what this means for SCH then.

So far from the Live Letter we know for class changes there will be no nerfs, some slight buffs (numbers related to SCH, DRG, BRD) and Monk stuff.

From that it would seem 5.4 healer changes will be a slight potency buff to SCH (could be to heals or damage) and nothing else for AST/WHM or general QoL.

I'd rather SCH receive a damage bonus during dissipation equal to the healing bonus, as SCH's Broil has a full gcd cast, as whm has instant cast, and dia deals damage on hit.
