That's not what she wrote in the message book and you might want to look again since you're so set on trolling this forum. The OP stated that the person made an alt but never actually said anything to them. Therefore how was the blacklist circumvented? The OP said the person wrote one entry in their message book which stated "Be Kind". How is that spamming? People are free to name their characters whatever they want. Simply being around another person is not stalking. If it was a punishable offense, then one of the 100+ tickets that were spammed would have resulted in punishment.
You're not on topic, please create a seperate thread if you would like to continue to insult me. (:
Nobody is insulting you. You put something out in the public domain and people are giving their honest opinions about it. Its not a personal attack against you.

I've been saying they are really good with protecting people against harassment. I've seen people suspended for sending one of those text pictures with a "thank you for party" note at the end of a dungeon because they violate anti spamming rules. I've seen people punished for spamming emotes. I've seen people punished for saying bad words... so I agree with you that they are really strict about it.. but I don't agree that they should just let people get away with whatever they want. For example, in a legitimate case of harassment, a player might create an alt to circumvent a blacklist to harass a player. Thats when a report should be made and Square Enix should handle it... but what the OP of this thread is talking about is NOT real harassment. If anything se is to stricked with stuff honestly, but any more everyone wants to cry about every little thing. Honestly they should rlly stop enforcing any rules but the ines doing with rmt, cheaters. People need to grow thicker skin and stop being snowflakes about everything, when blacklist does block them from talking to u, so use it lol.

You know only a small portion of the whole picture. You're assuming you know a whole story. You're looking for some rise out of me even, and it's really not going to happen. I hope you can find something more productive to do with your time today. (:I've been saying they are really good with protecting people against harassment. Look. I have no desire to argue with you but If I have an opinion I am going to voice it. I've been a member since 2013 and I have 29 posts.. most of which are in this thread because I find it THAT ridiculous. I think that spamming reports is just about the worst thing you can do, and I say that speaking as someone who works dealing with tickets like the ones you've sent.
You keep telling people in here who you disagree with that they should stay on topic or whatever.. but I have not seen a single off-topic reply. Like I said before, I don't enjoy seeing someone go through a hard time playing this game. I've been playing since 1.0. I love this game and I think we have the best community of any MMORPG. I just don't see harassment as the huge major game breaking issue you're trying to make it out to be.

The FFXIV community isn't all that great - I've had death threats thrown my way over lore speculation and liking/disliking specific characters. If you've managed to evade the more chaotic and unhinged elements? Great - but that doesn't mean it doesn't exist.
Is this game perfect? No. Not at all. But try playing Starcraft II or WoW or literally any other online game and tell me FFXIV doesn't have a much better community. Yes, there will be people out there who are not nice. Welcome to the internet, but overall, FFXIV has an amazing community.
Has there been instances in which I've come across a not so nice person? Probably. I just don't let things like that weigh me down, especially since its so rare.

I've gotta be honest, I'd rather have a community that isn't afraid to voice their opinions - even if they are jerks - than this community where everyone is passive-aggressive, overly sensitive, and reports for anything and everything. Like someone said, you can be banned if you say a curse word and somebody - doesn't matter who - reports you. I actually do not think SE is very good at handling harassment. Like I said, earlier in this thread, they are heavy-handed.Is this game perfect? No. Not at all. Like the OP may have an actual stalker, but this supposed stalker knows exactly how to annoy the OP while avoiding punishment by SE. Whether it's true or not, it's not like there aren't people who do this. Many in this community know exactly how to skirt the line. I've said this before in other threads, but I'd argue this game's community is more "toxic" than many of the comparisons given.

Stalking is a harder thing for GMs to track because a stalker doesn't have to do anything that shows up in a chat log to do it.
Another issue is who's to say the stalker didn't get their account banned or terminated and just make another account? I think bans are account-based, not IP.
You'd be surprised how "petty" some of the community can be. >x>
