Female Hrothgar and Male Viera

That's a strange way at looking at it.
There's no way to "learn from mistakes" if you force yourself to repeat them outta fairness to those past burnt and SE has shown to be great at digesting feedback to correct mistakes or mishandling of things later on.

Don't get me wrong, I don't think they shouldn't do that, I just can't see them do it because it would be a really bad look for them. Yes, they would have "learned from their mistake" but they'd still be leaving the other two in a worse situation with no fix because they decided to be fancy the first time around. I'm not fully convinced of this myself, but if there's even a speck of truth in the speculation that Viera hasn't seen any additions so far because they also want to give Hrothgar something (and that's a bit more involved than just slapping hair on them) I just can't see them releasing male Viera without at least some of the same limitations because they don't consider their design decisions a mistake in the first place.

There's no sugar coating it, a number of design decisions for Viera and Hrothgar are bad and anti-consumer.

Now here's something we completely agree on. It is bad and anti-consumer and I'm still kind of surprised it blew over the way it did, probably because the 'missing' gender counterparts drew most of the ire. Personally I still think Hrothgar got the shorter end of the stick with the whole Fantasia-to-change-hair-thing and only having about 4 to choose from, but neither are in a very good place for the reasons you also mentioned. It'd be great if they learned from it for the future but if you watch the art stream they seem to take a lot of pride in how 'unique' they both turned out limitations be damned, they acknowledge it isn't a great situation but still gave off the air that it was a good trade-off. They seem to almost enjoy making things needlessly difficult for themselves so walking that back for male Viera, while it would 100% be the right thing to do, would be like admitting they bungled the other two and I just can't see them do that without addressing it for both. Though stranger things have happened so I'd be happily surprised if they did.

Yes...stop making these threads. We already have 2 with a couple hundred pages. It would be better to keep discussion and feedback on those threads instead of constantly making new ones.
But...Never Say Never. We have no reason to believe that we won't see Male Viera or Female Hrothgar until its Officially Announced. Until then, its still possible and could happen.

They haven't been able to deal with adding additional hairstyles for Viera and Hrothgar so I would say it's a pretty safe bet where the director and development team who said these would be the last racial additions aren't about to compound their development woes by trying to introduce new races/genders.

The only way I could see new additions is for them to be limited and not have to have them retrofit all the gear to fit them. Given the outcry's already about headgear not being able to work for the latest additions the chances of that happening are pretty remote.

At least for Hrothgar, several NPCs in Bozja and Gangos have hairstyles that aren't normally available on their face models. They may have gotten a way around it, though there's a chance we won't be able to do that sort of thing ourselves until 6.0. At least they gave us actual hoods that work on Hrothgar and Viera.

There are quite a few items that work but not full head gear. Doubt that will ever happen. What is disappointing really is new releases haven't been available for the new races for the most part. Hopefully that'll change soon even if it means making a new model to accomplish it.

Male Viera as a petite effeminate male race cause we don't have one at all. Even male Mi'qotes look like they spend a fair amount of time at the gym... >.> Also it would be nice to have a race where the whole males are larger than females stereotype is reversed.

Honestly I fear I may end my subscription if they don't. Like I understand the decision they made currently. But if they make that decision again, there is just no excuse.
