I still loved LotRO's drinking mechanic. If I remember right you could drink, and your graphics would start to blur (and you would get a stacking 'Party Time' effect); when you had drunk enough times from the keg, the debuff flavor text was something like "It's Drunk O'Clock! Do you know where your pants are?" And when it expired, you'd black out, wake up somewhere randomly in the game, and your pants would be missing (effectively glamoured invisible). And you had a debuff with an icon of a sad panda, with flavor text noting that your pants were missing and this made you a sad panda.

When the debuff wore off, your pants reappeared.

(The hallucinogenic toad venom had a pretty hilarious debuff too.)
