Please do something about the advertisements for "Lounges" in shout chat

Now imagine if a popular and respectable streamer like Asmongold was to join this game while streaming. What do you think his first reaction would be? His viewer base would probably vomit on sight and not even bother with this game!

Dude, like I said in a different thread of yours he's not coming here unless he does it in secret. His chat would roast him live and then leave him. Also even if he says it for jokes he's shown his disgust of at least cat girls, au ra females and Viera. While he plays a game that have talking cows and pandas in it.

his base is big but not good. they literally spammed his chat with misogyny on every video i've seen of him. sure, he tells them to cut it out, but they do it again the next time, which means that his base is not good and will drive off the existing playerbase.

1) We do not need any more of a raider scene here. The raider community is alive and healthy here already and it doesn’t need any help.

2) As far as Asmongold being so funny and respectable, I suppose that is a personal point of view. I tried watching one video of his and all I found he could do was say the f-word. That is neither funny nor respectable where I come from.

3) I do not do perverted things nor do I support them. I said that I wish they did not advertise these ERP “lounges”. I wish they didn’t even have them, but it is their business to do what they want in the privacy of their own houses. I wish they would keep it to themselves though. I do not want any part of it.

1) The more the merrier, our raiding scene isn't that big.
2) He's a great person in general I don't see how anyone can hate him. His fan base is fun and it would do so much good to his have this community join us.

You always accuse the playerbase of being dirty ERPers ruining your game experience, but as a player since 2.0 with toons in Mateus, Balmung, and Faerie, I've experienced a literal ZERO public ERP situations (or private, for that matter). If any "Lounge" is going on, it's advertised as 18+, and in a housing ward, INSIDE the house. At this point, you're coming off WORSE, as now I picture you hiding in a corner in a house somewhere watching people ERP. People aren't ERPing wherever you go unless you spend all your time in the red light district of Eorzea.

I have not seen anyone openly ERP in public spaces in-game, and these ads clearly point out they are 18+ and are within a RP club they've created at housing they've obtained; and mostly inside where it's free from the public eye unless you willingly go there. The only thing you see in shout chat is the ads themselves, which are harmless.

You guys may not spend any time at the Quicksand on Balmung then. There is plenty of public erp'ing there as well as other locations. If you're using mods you'll see the nudity if you're not you'll see enough people there in their small clothes.

i'm not advocating the use of PF for lounges and 18+ venues but it seems this has now become a pretty common thing to see in PF and to some degree advertised in shout chat as well and it's not just on Crystal DC but other data centers as well such as Aether and Chaos.
