HTF is your immersion broken when the in game clothing ranges in style from 1st century to 20th century?

Why would someone who plays a game filled with talking cows, talking foxes, talking robots, talking goats and talking wolves wearing faerie creature costumes get upset over a talking cat wearing a school uniform?
Nothing to see here people, just an angry li' popoto that hasn't realise we have a sailor outfit in the game and this is a fantasy game.
Not a huge fan of adding a cash-shop schoolgirl costume.
Always feels like a "death-knell" outfit, the sort of thing that gets added as part of a decision to give up on trying to expand the user base and instead just focus on milking what they can from those who are left.
It actually seems like IT IS NOT GENDER LOCKED !!!

I google translated the Page using its camera function in small print beneath one of the pictures, it stated it was; "This is a set of costumes with no restrictions on large races or genders."
THIS MAKES ME TOO HAPPY
Below is a picture that I'm referencing, hopefully it shows up... i don't really know how to embed pictures like this FORGIVE! (got it after some googling)
