    Making the CT raids more difficult is more likely to drive people out of the queue entirely than to get them to play the game the way you think they should, which isn't going to help fill groups for later alliance raids. It will make their FFXIV experience worse without improving yours.

    why should the other 24 men be nerfed? just because people are too lazy to do mechanics? pleeease, none of them are difficult nor tedious, take Orbonne. People run it all the time at 70 with little issue, but suddenly in ShB it became too difficult/boring to require echo to speed it up? echo on 24 man was such a joke... if they can't split the roulette in 50/60 - 70/80 I sure hope they'll scale them better so crystal tower stops being a zerg fest. having the same 3 damn raids all the time is tedious, not the other 6

    Um... no... that raid in particular was often messy because of #reasons, but also now that it's not current content and people run it nowhere near as often, their memory of the mechanics begins to decline and you also get people who weren't here for SB trying to do it for the first time. The consequence of this is that the average competence with respect to that piece of content goes down, effectively making it harder. Also, when it was, you know, handing out relevant gear, that greatly increased the reward for running it. That's why I said the Nier stuff doesn't need to be nerfed yet: it's still handing out relevant rewards.

    You guys can stamp your feet and shout all you want that people are wrong for not having fun the same way you do, but it's never going to get you what you want. Trying to treat alliance raids like they aren't just some casual gear dispenser that offer almost no incentive to run them once their expansion is over, whether through the roulette or not, is just going to drive more people out of the content and keep you from getting what you want. Reject purity and this drive for some wannabe hardcore experience and embrace pragmatism. You'll get more from meeting people halfway than you will from trying to hold the content hostage.

    The only thing the Ivalice raids are guilty of is that most bosses are pretty boring (Hashmal being a nice exception) and simply live far too long.
    The fights are just so dragged out for no reason.

    This was true when they were current and sadly it still is.

    the only raids they added echo to were the 70 raids,right? At least its the only time ive seen it used. Because of the reasons stated before. People generally go into older content because of experience points and levelling. Outside of that theres tomestones, but not really as much as would be worth doing other content instead(youre better off doing 2 recent dungeons before the queue would even pop for orbonne,etc). People want to level fast, they dont want to deal with a wipe fest. The fact that they added echo, just proves that those raids might not have been tuned as easily as the CT raids, second of all, almost any player qualifies for the CT raids, not everyone qualifies(20 level gap) for Orbonne, etc. Statistically more people will be put in CT raids regardless of whether they are even required for story, due to the fact they apply to the greatest common denominator(people at level < 70 vs people at level < 51). At this point, are we getting mad at newer players who need to clear the content for story anyway, or are we mad at players who are voluntarilly queuing for it, to prevent newer players from having to quit the game because nobody is queing for their 24 man MSQ content? Cheesing i level is going to happen, theres almost no way they can prevent it at all. And you can always go into DF and manually click those raids you'd rather do, if you wanted to. sorry it takes hours because nobody wants to run them
