Hilda & Estiniens hair Request!

I really hope these are part of the last step of Ishgard Restoration. It's very much a missed opportunity on SE's part if we don't get these styles for the content specifically related to Ishgard.

They might want to sell it on the mogstation instead, but still a really good time to add it regardless of which direction they go.

I agree- Ishgard would be a great opportunity to add these amazing styles that alot of people are clearly hoping for!

I'm kind of dreading how Hilda's hair might turn out for Miqo'te. I still want it, but I'm expecting weirdness around the ears.

I'm actually surprised that Half-Elezens are not a thing yet in character creation consider its just the Hyur Model with pointed ears.

You think it would be a 1-2-3 process just to add in.

There are alot of requests for character creator to be updated, adding options like:
Half-elezen
Au ra to have swappable horns
More than 1 face paint option that you can wear at a time
Better make-up options
Stubble for all male races
Beards for all male races
Chest hair
Better designed hairstyles (bc it seems only NPCs get good hairstyles at this point)
Updated skin textures for the older races

there's a thread somewhere about additions people would like to see that touches on all of it

But, I'd like to try to get SE to recognize how many people would like better hairstyles & most NPC hairstyles to stop being locked

They won't be doing playable mixed races, they said at the 2018 Fan Fest they don't want to do it.

Then he was asked about mixed-race characters, and the questioner alone had to stop her question midway through as everyone laughed at his visible dislike of the question.

It was answered, though. Making characters like that playable? A lot of work. Having them present as NPCs? Far more doable. Please don’t ask about the former.

Now I don't see what's particularly difficult about adding a half Elezen as they're just a Hyur with elf ears, but that's also a point against it. They don't add anything interesting as they're just a Hyur with elf ears**. But if they were to add them it would open the floodgates to requests for more and more bizarre mixed races so I'm guessing that's why they don't even want to consider it.

Anyway, always a big yes to more interesting hairstyles.

**Edited to add: You could definitely say this about most races as they're just Human + X feature, but I think half Elezen would probably also decimate the already small Elezen population.
