Yeah, I've only had one run of Castrum on Primal that went bad, of those that actually started; the problem was always runs that didn't have enough people to start. The one that went bad was only a day or two into Bozja; the upper group did not kill their boss quickly enough, so the lower group slowed down eventually... but it turns out, it's very hard to keep the drill alive if the battle drags on for ~10 minutes and you're avoiding AoEs so you don't kill your lower boss.That's mostly the norm in Primal's instances of Castrum. The DPS checks aren't major enough to where everybody has to heavily push (unless you're top with Lyon), and more than enough people die to mechanics to where you're always going to need somebody rezing and healing people. The only complaint I would ever really give is if EVERYBODY died or if DPS wasn't enough to get through Lyon. Those are really the only two instances where judging needs to happen.
And if the drill dies, you wipe.
Every other run's been fairly smooth, though there was one where someone ran on ahead and pulled the final boss while people were opening chests. Everyone else got the "Move immediately to sealed space?" prompt, clicked yes... and all appeared right in the middle of an aoe. That was... uh, spicier than usual. But we still cleared, albeit with the healers making a herculean effort to get everyone back upright.

The wave of adds is not an enrage and they don’t even damage the drill from what I’ve seen.

I’ve had runs (sadly not recorded) where we’ve killed a boss with the other over 50% left.
It’s kindly busywork but it’s easier than keeping your boss alive for no reason. It’ll only serve to damage the drill.
