I'm just hoping for actual stats on their MH weapon, you know that Int / Vitality they're missing. . .

Veteran healers don't care if we need to heal, but right now we don't. We want interesting things to do during the downtime other than a 30s dot and a single filler spell that hasn't changed from lvl 4 to lvl 90.
Dead DPS do no DPS. Raised DPS do 25/50% lower DPS. Do the mechanics and don't stand in bad stuff.
Other games expect basic competence, FFXIV is pleasantly surprised by it. Other games have toxic elitism. FFXIV has toxic casualism.[/LIST]
There are so many negative nancy’s saying they would announce it blah blah. No they wouldn’t. They didn’t announce new races before they added them. They didn’t announce ninja a year or 2 before they implemented it. People need to understand anything is possible. Who knows, there could be a developer slowly working on this and we don’t know about it. Originally they said they already had like 113 I think spells already figured out. We are at 80 spells now. So I’m guessing they will finish that up in 5.4 then hey maybe surprise us with blue becoming a regular job in 6.0 as an all rounder or something. So I wish people would stop being negative nancy’s. Yes I could be totally wrong but it doesn’t mean to have many people’s dreams crushed by the negativity. Just let us have this. Let us keep hope alive. Keep the negativity on the outside please. Anything is possible people. I truly believe square will pull a rabbit out the hat. They know how bad people want blue mage as a regular job. I believe they will make it happen for us.
Please come to my drinking party! :P
I tend to hold out for the long haul / low chance being possible (like Ronso race), but indeed the small % stuff means you should make friends with tears in a cup lol.
Either way bottoms up lol~

They should absolutely do it, but the problem is then effort. The reason why BLU gets maim and mend V is BECAUSE they don't have mainstat on their weapon, suddenly giving them stats later would mean the kit would need retooling at higher levels. Now if they became a normal job from 70 onwards this wouldnt be an issue, but whilst it remains a limited job with limited weapons it can equip, it cant have any int on a weapon unless they truly want to pad its dps.
Edit: a potential solution for this is retooling every weapon to have aetheryte earring esq stat scaling including weapon damage

Savage Completion Rate ~5%+ of active players. Community: "Ugh stop catering to savage"
Ultimate Completion Rate ~1% of active players. Community: "Ugh stop catering to the hardcore raiders"
Frontline/ Rival Wings/ Hidden Gorge Mount Aquisition ~0.05-1% of active players. Community: "Ugh PVP is so dead in this game, they should stop investing in it"
Blue Mage Morbol Mount Aquisition ~0.01% of active players. Community: "WoW bLuE mAgE iS sO fUn AnD aCtIvE i CaN't WaIt FoR mOrE lImItEd JoBs"
At some point they have to give it unique Job Abilities (Not Blue Magic Spell abilities) and some unique traits to make it into a normal job (Especially when the Job Gauges are also a trait). Retooling every weapon to be like the Aetheryte earring is a good idea as well for the Main Hand Weapon but then what about raid weapons? If we apply it to the weapon then is there a point in end game raiding? I mean if there is a limit and it doesn't hit the Current tier end game item level and its stats then I should be fine. They should absolutely do it, but the problem is then effort. I just want to do Palace of the Dead, Eureka, and Heaven on High with Blue Mage.
You're completely wrong. They've announced every job in a fanfest since HW (so Ninja was the only exception, not the rule), and they've also announced (in fanfests) Au Ra, Hrothgar and Viera. There are so many negative nancy’s saying they would announce it blah blah. I wish people would stop with the stupid delusion of BLU becoming an all rounder. They'll never make a DPS that can steal a spot from the other roles.
So, can the positive daydreamers stop making up lies and falsehoods to justify their unsubstantiated wishful thinking, until they actually make an announcement? Thank you.
