Your wrong. SE does on occasion listen to what we have to say. There are things that are in game right now that only exist because a player spoke up about it.

I don't think speaking out against the way it is done is irrational. I think the manner in which people are speaking and labeling their threads is rather irrational.

Please highlight where in my posts I have been anything other than constructive, posting valid alternatives and explaining why I and many others are angry.

If they don't listen, I won't be around to talk to.

That is not waht i am saying. Thanks though for twisting my word, what i am saying is if they are my friends, the people i play with on daily basis. I will sit down with them one evening and talk about it further on how will this effect our future? Will i commit to the LS i play daily? If i was, will you be coming with me? or will you be comitting with your LS as well? if that is the case why don't 2 of our LS comes together into a server, i will talk with my LS and you will talk with yours. We'll find an agreement but if we happen to not meet there will not be any hard feeling, let's keep in touch ?

That was what i'd do instead of whining because i am sure i won't miss random strangers i don't really play with, maybe they made what my server was, but they will nto effect me in one way or another because we don't really play to begin with.

Hmmm.

Thread title: A true reflection of how I feel and what I and perhaps others will do. It's purpose is to be impactful and attract attention. It's done that quite well.

Second point: Invalid. It isn't temporary. People are going to be permanently moved to different servers. Where does it say that we are all going to be reunited in 2.0? Once those people move servers. I have lost contact with them. Permanently.

I'm tired of talking to an emotionless brick wall of white knighthood. Obvious troll is obvious. Enjoy your day and stay out of my thread unless you can provide a valid argument for the currently proposed server merger technique.

The point of this thread is that all of this tireless communication to desperately hold our friendships together shouldn't have to happen. There is no reason why SE can't merge servers as they have done with FF11 in the past.

3.) I'm confused, the only people who are getting "left behind" are people who don't play or pay right now. People who you don't talk to on FFXIV. Why should they cater to these people if it gives the rest of us a chance to choose where we want to go?

Just giving them the option to choose when they come back would give them what they want. Has nothing to do with how they do the current merge. If they did an A->B merge, they wouldn't have to do anything to have what they want. If they toss it up like they have now, they need to be able to choose as well. Your argument... I don't understand.
