You can't tell me SE won't make male Viera bc lore but then at the same time ignores the lore about Viera feet.

No male Viera isn't because of lore, it's because they wanted to do Hrothgar as well as Viera, the lore is simply the in-game reason given for why they're not available or seen.

XIV Viera's body is made from a modified midlander body so we got the same flat feet, unless you also want limits on the shoes we'll be able to wear this is good enough. The races have bigger issues than not having perma-heels.

Covid-19 has caused a lot of delays and Vera was probably pushed aside for more important content. We won't see the updates until 5.4 > New Expansion.

I waited years for Viera to come out and I fantasia’d to one for about 9 months and got tired of waiting on new hair styles and the ability to wear more hats and went back to Miqote as a result.

Either way though, I'm glad they went with regular hands and feet in the end. It would've been cool if they could make it work, but if we had unique hands and feet all they would've done is turn off shoes and most gloves as well and we'd be even worse off.

They definitely won't be doing anything to the feet or the default sandals though.

Viera just have to accept they're playing a limited race. Their updates will probably come even later now thanks to Covid. Blue Mage is getting another update before them lmao
