I'm talking in terms of visuals when it comes to FFXV Imperial capital. City in ruins, the monsters/bosses you fight, etc.Or it could be him setting up a big war to try and release Zodiark to consume him (but hopefully not succeed seriously I do not want Zenos as the season 1 final boss after seeing much better villians this expansion) and turning the entire continent of Islabard into a battlefield including the capitol similar to the third Hunger Games book. This will also work with Sharlyan being the main hub city as you try and use the resources there to stop him but the actual exploration zones being in Islabard. plus I would rather they not take examples from how FFXV handled it's imperial capitol with that ring mission (Shudders) i want it to be done right and i think after the criticism Ala Mhigo received the Dev's want to do it right too.
I think many people would also like it as a hub though, i guess more of an endgame hub like Eulmore where you have to defeat the hostile powers first, while i do imagine we will get a dungeon there at some point I do not want it to be like Ala Mhhigo where that is what it mostly is, i am still disappointed we never got Ala Mhigo proper after all the years of hyping it up.

I really would not miss it if we never go to Garlemald. Everything is already about garleans, I want something new.
And their architecture is so bleak too...
I feel Bozja just added more fuel to Galemald being next.
The revelation that the Resonant project didn't die with Aulus seems like all the more reason for it become a problem in the future, since now we have that and their Weapon business to worry about; though the former is arguably worse due to the human resources involved with Echo bearers needed to serve as a blueprint and several sacrifices required to actually carry out the process.
There's also the matter of there being another potential heir to the throne in Merna, Solus' cousin and leader of the third legion. The fact that he's been regarded as "weak" by some of his peers gives me the impression he's actually a more reasonable figure then the Garleans we're used to dealing with and understands that you don't need to use force and oppression to rule a country.

On the flip side, this also gives more fuel to Garlemald being 7.0 or further down the line. We become so focused with dealing with Zenos that the Empire gets its second wind and becomes the main problem again, but without the Ascians involvement anymore.I feel Bozja just added more fuel to Galemald being next.

Idk, the continent is at war when you factor in what is transpiring in Bozja and Werlyt. They need to take the war somewhere more dramatic then where it is now.Or it could be him setting up a big war to try and release Zodiark to consume him (but hopefully not succeed seriously I do not want Zenos as the season 1 final boss after seeing much better villians this expansion) and turning the entire continent of Islabard into a battlefield including the capitol similar to the third Hunger Games book. I agree that this is the more likely scenario. If the entire power structure of the empire falls after Zenos and Fandaniel play their hand, it will force the empire to withdraw from all territories and consolidate power. We could very likely see a reformed Gaius take the throne only to turn to us for help in 7.0 when the new threat rears it's head.
We have to remember we are heroes, not warmongers. Our goal isn't to tear down the empire but save all the people of the star. We are going where ever Zenos and Fandaniel have the best chance to cause an 8th calamity/rejoining. We will go to the empire when they truely need a savior.
At this juncture, my hope is Ala Mhigo is the next target of reconstruction like we had this expansion with Ishgard. That content has proven to be popular and now they have the chance to have us rebuild the city proper.
We can have a better fleshing out of the culture, more appearances from characters used in the liberation, and finally bring the happy ever after that country deserves.
That's functioning under the assumption that they aren't going to be using the Empire as their tool to goad us and the Eorzean Alliance into a full-on war...which seems unlikely considering that Zenos even bothered securing the imperial palace and Fandaniel seems thrilled to bits about possessing the body of someone as influential as Asahi and has been quelling the rumors of his demise so he can abuse that influence to ill ends.
Not to mention the ability to make the region actually look interesting. Right now it's so...bland.At this juncture, my hope is Ala Mhigo is the next target of reconstruction like we had this expansion with Ishgard.
