It wouldnt surprise me if they do actually get down to making BLU a non-limited caster by 6.4, considering theyre going to increase its xp cap in 5.4

probably end up with 4 tank 4(or 5) melee 3(or 4 ranged) 3(or 4 midway through next expansion/last half)full caster and 4 healers. RIP Mystic Knight then, at least for another expansion. Who knows what they will do by that time. After this following expansion it is literally past the 10 year goal post set for ARR. But considering the games success, i could see them doing at least another expansion past 6.0. Maybe next expansion there will be a G=Warrior mode, would be cool to have mecha pvp or exploration.

Its not gospel yet, but there seems to be at least a considerable amount of reasonability to think these 2 would be likely. Chemist and BST, though these could just be curve balls thrown at us, like MCH ended up being instead of Chemist.
I firmly believe BST will be a limited job.

Reson is: pets, or rather, the inability of XIV's tech (aka sphagetti code) to fully support pet playstyle with regular jobs in duties, given the example on how far SMN's Egis got from a fully functional "true" pet system. They are practically on the verge of being completely deleted. Unless they have some sort of huge tech overhaul incoming, I can't really see it.

Instead, I think BST will inevitably fall into the Limited box, promoting a gameplay revolving on pet collection and pet combat. Basically a built-in pokemon style game. Now, how that actual playstyle is gonna be, I'm defnitely not sure, but the whole concept of pet collector/combat suits their idea of Limited Job much more than BLU, and if it's really the case, I hope they learned from its faults. I don't really have an issue on BLU as a limited job, but I do have many about the actual execution of the idea.

I hope it wields a whip!
