How about you actually improve as a player instead of wanting the whole game to be cattered to you? I'm so tired that after all these years of making the game easier people expect all rewards to be handed to them on a silver platter just for paying a subscription. It's a game, this new content is of minimum challenge if you don't spend the rest of your days afking in Limsa, so instead of crying about it on the forums, start seeing how you can improve instead.

The fight itself is not that difficult at all. The main issue is not enough people are queueing for it. I've seen instances with 30+ people at rank 10 and above and then only 12 people queue into it. It's artificial gating because even though people can beg for the rank 10+s to queue, a lot them just simply don't.

People can get locked into other CE too. This happened to me twice.
Red Chocobo spawns, people queue for it then the Castrum CE shows up but nobody can queue up since they are locked into the other encounter.

This happened to me yesterday. Spawned into an instance and the Castrum just appeared. Only 7 people went in, but looking at the list there were quite a few level 10+. Turns out a lot were stuck in another CE.
I'm hoping more people start getting to Rank 10 and start queuing for it, I'd love to get it done once so I can focus on relics and such.

I highly doubt FFXIV will become a game with content locked behind raiding. Especially since Raiding and Savages yield hardly any rewards.

They already did with Baldesion Arsenal.

Well like 2 cutscenes serving as an epilogue. And the story is conclusive enough without completing BA. And there's like zero chance that what's his face will become relevant again because they know that only a minority of players will complete BA

Even though this might be a troll post. I can't believe you all who've replied already forget that the story of the Coils of Bahamut were the savage of the day so a lot of people never saw the CS that plays after you cleared T12 for the 1st time. Or the story at all. Why so many people were guessing that the fire bird mount for getting all of the primal birds couldn't be phoenix. Until the devs made the video that showed what exactly happened after Lousiox teleported the player into the future.
