5.35 Bozja - You can't level down from mettle

Not really a fan of this content...been at it for the last 3 hours or so and it really does just feel like Eureka again without the annoying Magia board and enemies that soak up damage.

It relies on FATES for everything. You don't get merits(exp) for killing mobs, only clusters or whatever they're called that you can use to turn in for items like the mount and emotes. While the FATEs do spawn much faster than the ones in Eureka, they still aren't guaranteed to drop the item you need for the weapon.

If I understand right, you'll need 60 for the weapon upgrade. 20 of each of the 3 kinds of memories.

These can also be obtained from FATEs in older areas outside of Bozja as well.

I kind of want the resistance gear but after I get the coat at least, I'm out.

I'm enjoying Bozja, but I'm also someone who willingly does Eureka content; there may be something wrong with me.

However, this bit quoted above actually sort of annoys me; I feel like they have things backwards. Right now, there's a chance for memories to drop in the Bozjan Southern Front. However, there is a 100% chance that they will drop from FATEs outside of Bozja provided you get gold. This means the easiest way to get the Bozjan relic weapon is not to do Bozja.

I think that having the weapons able to be upgraded outside of Bozja is a good idea; having the level 70 relic weapons require Eureka was maybe not the best possible option. But I think that since they are weapons tied to the Resistance storyline and content, the Bozja content should have the better drop rate on the materials for them.

It's certainly strange and I wonder if they somehow flipped the numbers. Should it be 100% drop rate inside, chance outside?

Or perhaps they're hoping people will balance the choice between "do it faster" and "engage with new content for longer".
