Aside from Video Games and Computers, whats your next biggest hobby?

As always, let me start this off.

Im a massive comic book nerd. Although I havent bought many comics in the last year, I have a good 2-3k comics in my collection. I also have a ton of TPB, Hardcovers and Omnibus collections.

As soon as the rain stops, we will be heading back outside! Where I live it rains from about October to May. So my husband, my son, the dog and I have the worst case of cabin fever. We like to trail hike up in the redwoods or hike to the beach and look for agates. We also spend a lot of time up at the river, since it gets to about 90 up there and only 65 here in July.

It's awesome to spend time with my almost 2 year old. He learns so fast and wants to explore everything. He is pretty much my hobby and my life. I know it's corny, but it's a huge part of my life. And when we're stuck at home gaming is the next best thing. Go nerds!


Sidenote: I used to collect comic books, Witchblade and The Darkness.

I own a GD and WD company so art is my first passion. I'm retired (No I'm not 50 I'm 26 I was just blessed with a permant source of income)so I like to spend time with my son and duaghters (3). I like to smoke, drank, hit up vegas on the weekend, I'm a huge gun fanatic I now own a Sig 556 Swat no mods (yet), 2 9mm, 1 sawed off and a M16 I have had since the 7th grade (wasn't legally mines till I turned 21) On the week end I like box I'm a huge Ali fan so I collect posters, tickets I actually have a signed ticket from him that has been passed down through my family for 20 years (not long but hey).

Sorry I don't collect comic but I read them from time to time I like Bleach and Berzerk (Gutzo, Griffith, etc.)

I snowboard. Pretty hardcore too. I got really sucked in the xiv and neglected my passion in life. With the servers going down, I hit the mountain up quite a bit and am torn between on playing, or playing on the mountain. Can't I do both?

Hard for me to say when you remove video games from the equation. I've been playing for as long as I can remember (there was already an Atari 2600 in the house when I was born), and it's really my only consistent hobby.

But I guess my other one is writing. I own a few blogs, I do freelance writing on occasion, and I've written articles (on writing and argumentation) that have been used in school syllabuses here in the U.S. and [I think] Australia. I call that my hobby, but it's really my "career," even though I've been lying low for a couple years after graduating.

I admit it: I'm not career-oriented. Job market here sucks, too. >.> So I waste my time doing smaller things rather than getting an actual writing job.

In my free time from working and ffxiv, I teach myself how to sew. My friends and I have a sewing circle that meets weekly. We started out doing group projects and lately it kind of devolved into just drinking and idle chatter. But that's what they're supposed to be anyways, right? Lol. I hope one day to be skilled enough to set up shop on etsy. I'm glad that crafting has really taken off as a new trend among people my age group. And no I'm not terribly old. :P

Aside from that, netflix, shows, and friends.
