THM and CNJ 1h arms

Relics from 1.0, yeah I know... But still there are plenty of them in the game. It would be amazing if we could glamour them into the 2h staves, so they could finally have an use again.

Also the FFXIII collab CNJ and THM arms that are pretty good looking but unusable! I'm not even sure, but I think they are still up to sale in the Mogstation, which despite the disclaimer of the glam restriction, might be a trap for new players unaware that 2h staves are the only option for those jobs after level 50.

I know from what I've posted about in a thread about turning the 1h weapons into 2h weapons and such, is that those items are from 1.X, so anyone who had those items from there when bringing their character back to 2.X and onward could retain the same item.

It would be AMAZING if they did make a shop where you could trade a 1h version into a 2h glamour version though.

I'm not sure if it would be a spaghetti code limitation, but simply allowing the 2h to be glamoured into a 1h would kind of suffice without having to create new items. But even the smallest things like icons on nameplates being such undertaking, I wouldn't doubt that the code would be an impeding factor.

So yeah, a shop like that would be perfect.

I'd love to be able to glamour 1-handers over the 2-handers, I like that they sit on the hip and therefore don't clip with hair.

Technically the 1-handers are an entirely separate class of weapons, from the games perspective it would be like trying to glamour a SAM sword or MCH gun over your cane. I don't know how that would effect things, but given the odd little issues they've had in the past it probably makes it all but impossible to do.

As long is it comes with the option to glamour a shield into the empty off hand slot.

At least for the old primal weapons we already have that in Mor Dhona. I think they even asked us to make suggestions wich other weapons we want to have as a 2-hand version as well and the old FF13 event weapons are a strong candidate for that.

They could just make the 1H clubs and wands have the same stats as the 2H and make matching glamour-only shields but that would probably be too much work for them, mainly in the process of deciding which items get the treatment and where to go from there.

The problem with that, is that for example, the Mog Wand got converted into a Mog Staff. While the staff itself is cool, I'd still miss the actual feel of a nice looking small wand.
