Yeah...200,000 MGP I think.
The Regalia won't be part of Make It Rain. They did say they're going to bring back the FFXV Crossover event sometime this expansion but they need to find a place where it will fit around the normal event schedule.
200k for the Regalia isn't a made up number. That's literally how much it cost during the event last year.

I'm not really sure why they couldn't throw a surprise Halloween event with the first/second year's data. I mean, yes I was there and yes there is some sense of pride in the whole "I was there! You weren't so if you want it, buy it on Mogstation!"
...but this isn't a normal case, and I'm sure some newer players would appreciate the older glamour. Even if it was literally last year's event repeated, would be better than nothing.
they'll probably address it a bit in more detail during the next live letter which is pretty close to the upcoming event.
It's probably about the rewards and quest completion and achievement data, and such. Just like how you can't redo other rerun events (DQ, FFXI, FFXIII, Yo-kai other than the new stuff, etc), they'd probably end up locking out anyone who did the quests the first time around if they just straight up reran a previous event.

That is most likely correct, but I still don’t see the problem, especially if it were say, year 1. The amount of players currently who completed that event is very likely a small percent of the population. Even I was there and did not get all the pumpkin heads, so even for me it would be good. It's probably about the rewards and quest completion and achievement data, and such. Huh, that's kind of surprising. Never really paid enough attention to the MiR campaign items other than to see if I have them or not, so didn't really register anything other than "yup, got it"
