    I'm curious, I've been seeing this comment floating around a bit now in all the housing threads, where is the information that they plan to move the housing zones to dedicated servers from? I'd love a source on this

    I don't know about "dedicated" servers but back when they announced the addition of wards in 5.3, they did their original plan had been to increase the number of servers for housing to add more wards but COVID travel restrictions made it impossible at the time for their techs to do the needed work. They had to settle for optimizing the existing servers to increase the wards.

    It could be there had been a separate interview at the time giving more details about what they had planned.
