    well you are not wrong. if the dps is low which is in some case the AoE can speeds things little up but not by much. he shots like one shot around every 8-10 sec and if the dps is good and the health of the boss goes down that fast cid would likely only get one shot in before the the adds appeared depend ofc if the stun is perfect

    Can make it go even faster if a melee LB2s...but I like to save the LB2 for a ranged to use on the two iron giants at the end.

    I always learn useful things from this thread (which is mainly the reason why I follow it). It's more of a "what not to do" type of manual (that also hints at what to do) and as a new player this has helped me immensely.

    On the subject of Castrum, a tank and a healer should be together in that fight. Healer should keep their HOTS up on everyone the entire fight so that the adds will spawn and go towards the healer. When that happens, the tank can easily pick up the adds instead of giving chase everywhere. I've ran Castrum a gazillion times now and was shocked that a tank suggested that to me because it's really smart and it really works! To that tank, thank you! <3

    Sorta. The few times I've seen that used it throws off the stun timing which means you're dealing with at least one invuln period. Much prefer it used on the two giants plus any left over adds in the mosh pit before Livia.

    I like a fast cast heal because sometimes the HoT tick doesn't line up with the spawn-in time for the adds.

    Anecdotally: It seems you can prevent the the flick from the claws on the Nero fight if you get enough shields on their target.

    Well, if you tank Nero at the door in the electricity, you can 100% avoid all knock backs by putting your back to the wall. The damage from the electricity is negligible, so there isn't a reason to tank him in middle of the room.

    Or, and this is probably a very radical option, have a ranged hit the claws(typically takes 2 hits max to kill them...even as a healer).
