Trying to queue for Bismark Extreme so I can go collect Lanners. Like .. it's as if no one on the server wants to do that one as I still wait.

Name Meaning:
Nekaru = Neko + Hikaru
Infitima = Infinity + Ultima
Most likely it's because the majority of people use Party Finder for any extreme content. You might get some mentors who get queued into it from Mentor Roulette, but very few people will queue directly for the trial from Duty Finder. If you're wanting to do it synced, you can still do it through PF, and just specify in the comment that you want to do it synced, there is likely to be some people who are willing to teach/learn it with you that way, and you will have a higher chance of getting people that want to be there(people queued in via Mentor Roulette is a craps shoot as to whether they will be helpful, be jerks, or just leave instantly without saying anything).

You forgot the part where you end your totally scientific explanation by saying "science, bitches", drop the mic and walk away with swagger.According to my exhaustive, serious-and-not-sarcastic analysis of the totally-legitimate-and-not-at-all-anecdotal data I've collected, the drop rate on chest pieces in that dungeon is, to put it in mathematically precise terms, "extremely likely for whatever you're not playing, but if you're on the job that could Need it and actually want the piece, the drop rate is roughly equivalent to the likelihood of seeing Halley's Comet pass beneath a double rainbow while you're riding a unicorn".
Healing DRK is literally... the same since ShB. The reason why people think it's a meme to heal nowadays because DRK receives very little to no buff to their sustainability vs 3 other tanks getting something useful. If you're capable of healing DRK back in ShB (or any tanks), then you'll heal EW DRK just fine.

What do you main? If you are level 80 and have high dps it is possible to solo it (you have to be able to burn one of the snakes quickly so it doesn't get near the other). Or, if you have a friend playing, ask them to run with you, you really only need two. You could also try putting up a PF for the fight (or if you for some reason want to run it synced, this also works) and people will usually run it with you. Also look if there's any marked for Wonderous Tales quick runs, usually everyone already has the mount so you can grab it if it drops.
This effect is known as the "greed sensor" and extends to any piece of contested or otherwise random loot. It is especially amplified if the piece of loot is the last one you need to finish a build, or worse yet, glamour. The more you want it the less likely it is to show up, in the case of contested loot it might show up early but guarantee you a low roll.According to my exhaustive, serious-and-not-sarcastic analysis of the totally-legitimate-and-not-at-all-anecdotal data I've collected, the drop rate on chest pieces in that dungeon is, to put it in mathematically precise terms, "extremely likely for whatever you're not playing, but if you're on the job that could Need it and actually want the piece, the drop rate is roughly equivalent to the likelihood of seeing Halley's Comet pass beneath a double rainbow while you're riding a unicorn".
Source: running hero's gauntlet 50 times before the healer hat dropped, at run 73 I gave up on ever seeing the gloves and found a replacement glamour instead. During those runs I have won almost complete sets for all other classes on greed rolls, all of them are missing exactly one glamourable piece. Except for the NIN gear which was complete in <20 runs because I needed neither the gear itself nor do I have a use for the glamour. I also saw the minon drop exactly once, and rolled a 4, if anyone is keeping track.
This concludes my lecture on why RNG hates you, thank you all for coming.
Not competent at doing big pulls when level 80? Like what. The pulls in the new dungeon aren't even large. Hell on one pull, an NPC will turn the mobs into frogs who can't even attack.Lack of communication is why you got kicked. You should have asked for bigger pulls. Did you ask? Probably not. Just ask next time. If they say no? Leave or grit your teeth (not really; that's bad for your teeth) and put up with the pace. Not everyone is competent at doing big pulls even though they should at that level.
If you're not even trying larger pulls by at least level 70, then said person will never be competent and never try no matter what anyone says. So that person suggesting larger pull would have meant nothing.
Why are you reading this? Keep scrolling.

I'm so embarrassed right now, I just had to share this.
So I queue in as blm and end up in alliance A. This part is very important for what I'm about write next.
At second boss, I die. I rez back, throw a freeze at boss...and no umbral III. I blink and try again. No umbral III and my mp is now at like, 400. Desperate, I throw bliz I. Still nothing. At this point, I'm freaking out. Like legit freak out. I die again, someone rezzes me...and I'm still having the same issue. I start panic and it was then, at that point that I finally notice that my party member name colors...are yellow. As in "this is another alliance party, not yours" yellow.
Then my eyes dart to the boss status: B
I yell like the biggest O.M.G behind my screen and facepalm so hard. I promptly type in chat how stupid I am. I mean, I've tunneled vision before in this game...but this might be the first time that I've succeeded I just blotting out everything else that was going on my screen except my character and the boss.
And then from that point on, I just snowballed in terribad performance, one boss after the next. I just couldn't get back into rhythm at all. I guess I just grew too complacent or something.

I've had those runs too. It's like, I know I'm better than what is being done on my screen but I think certain mistakes sort of demoralize you and then it's just downhill from there. After a certain point there's a bit of acceptance that this just isn't going to be a fun time.

MSQ, Prae. The DRK suggested we imagine the npcs speaking like Disney characters, so the cast is now:
Gaius = Goofy
Cid = Donald Duck
Nero = Daisy Duck
Lahabrea = Micky Mouse
... It made the run so much worse. XD
