I don't understand it, I just do not understand it!

Each time i see someone not understanding how some people can cut prices so much and still make a living of it, i wonder where they live irl for not having any discount stores around them, and not even knowing what it is XD

Who do you think did make the more money these last days :

- me, selling each day several items stacks for 99 000 gils ;
- the other "but undercutting is bad !" players who price the same thing for 130 000 and didn't make any sales for a whole week ?

If in the merchant course you want in your first post, they are telling you that there is no money at all to be made by selling quickly tons of units at low prices to an extended customers base, and that selling less items at high prices to richest people is the only way to go, then don't listen to it, it is a bad one. Unless of course all these discount stores i see irl are some sort hallucination i have, and that in fact they don't exist at all.

I know that's how you think the market works, but realistically I probably make more than you by having the smallest bit of patience and simply letting your stupid stacks be bought up before continuing to sell my own higher priced stacks.

Agree 100%. I make at least 1 million a day, nett, during weekends, much more, because I have patience. And when sometimes the prices plummet too much, and there are too many sellers (I don't want to buy up a thousand or more at a time), I just wait, until they're tired of gathering, which they quickly become, and take it back, or I change to another item.
