how hard is it for people to read the lodestone? i mean you don't have to visit it *every* day but still if you are playing the game you should be keeping up with news on the game. it's almost impossible to miss out on anything if you keep up.

To be fair, as a console player, I don't really pay attention to the login screen, where this information would appear, especially now that we can mostly bypass it and just hit the start button when the page loads. And even then, opening a link is a but obnoxious on console even if you do see something.

To this day I'm still really upset that I missed out on the poofy cloud mount. I never even knew it was going on.

I never go there unless there is a major patch or unless I'm having trouble logging on to the game. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Some people just wanna play and don't want to be inundated with news, most of which will have no relevance to their play.

As a console player I don't really get that. I have a phone and other means to go to the lodestone to keep up on the news

If you are able to come to the forums, read threads, and post in them, you can also go to the lodestone and see the news related to this game with zero issues.
