Bored, nothing to do....?

I know the typical response to advice for someone who is bored, is they are "burned out" and should take a break or quit the game, but I'm anything but typical.

The reason it's the typical response is because it's almost anyways the correct answer. Why are you so against just taking a break from the game if you're that bored?

I mean if you have done everything you want to with the game, there's nothing wrong with unsubbing and doing something else. It's impossible for a game to have endless meaningful content.

There's also temporarily stepping away from something you have done for a long time, grown used to, and coming back to it after a break to rediscover your passion for it.
When the director/producer of a subscription-based game tells people that it's fine to unsub for a while and take a break, losing the company money, it likely is a valid course of action.
