No more QTE please.

I noticed some keyboard players said that mashing buttons on the keyboard does nothing for the mechanic.
My friend showed me, and he was right, only a single button on the keyboard worked, and no other.

I couldnt figure out why his was so different from mine in that regard.

Has anyone figured out why this is so different yet?

Not sure about the cause, but noticed that too. I press both my keyboard and mouse buttons to pass latest QTEs now, cuz that somehow works, but not 2 keyboard buttons.

I mean just get killed by bahamat and let the healer know not to raise you until after the QTE event. seriously if you are dead before it happens it recognizes that and it relies on everyone else. You avoid the QTE and you move on in the story. Just pray the tanks if they are new have their LB set to their hot bars because the checkpoint is set after the group survives the LB.

Its not ideal but its a work around at least.

Dead people need to do SoS QTE as well.

It's already been proven it's not as hard as people perceive it to be, SE were just clever and made it 'feel hard' by making it difficult to max out the bar is all.

Truth of the matter is, if you managed to get it this far in the game without having to press 3 keys per second, this trial is a good time to learn how to use more than 1 finger to play.

You realise there was no fights which requared us to do that in normal content so far?
I mean... I genuinely don't remember about anything in normal content that pushes you to spam 1-2 buttons the same way SoS QTE "pretends" to. Maybe that's my lags fault, but even on NIN or SMN pre 5.1 there was no real need to press 3 buttons at the same time, cuz it worked out fine and maaaaybe saved quicker partys some few seconds. Which isn't that much even for Ex nowadays, let's be real.

Also, there were people who told us that it doesn't work for them the same way as some videos show it. I'm gonna jump to assumption here, but keep in mind most of those videos were probably recorded by abled people.
