Let people see exactly who didn't roll yet/Decrease loot timers

What I usually do if people are standing around waiting for people to leave before they roll on loot...I /sit...and then say in party chat "I have all night, so you might as well go ahead and roll." It has worked pretty well I must say.

However, I do still think the roll timers are way too long in this game. I wouldn't mind if they shortened them up.

This just happened to me.... in a raid. Normally I'd just get up and take a short break. Or play with my phone. But this time, with what happened to me, and I am sure it happens to others as well.

I was doing bunkers alliance raid. And during the 2nd phase of final boss my game start to be super laggy and server booted me twice. Once during the boss fight but I got back in right away, and 2nd time... is during the loot roll. There is someone who refuse to roll because trying to get as many people to exit first, and I rolled a 93 on the 2P minion, and after waiting forever... about 23 seconds left, the game booted me again. I tried to log back as fast as I can but when I log back, the whole alliance is gone and I lost everything I rolled. I was so upset that I didn't log on for 2 days. In this case... they got what they wanted... someone who has a high chance of winning got booted so they have a higher chance of getting said item. I strongly think... the FINAL raid loot box should really shorten the timer, because of what happened to me. And also, since we all paid for the game, 1 person trying to waste everyone else's time is just plan rude.

p.s. and yes, I got booted from the game because server is full, not because my internet failed me. Normally if problem is on my end and you DC trying to log back in right away, will show you that "your character is still logged in game" stuff, but when server boot you because they are full and need to make room for other people to get in, you can log in right away, but you have to wait in que... for whatever amount number of people in line in front of you. Ever wonder how you are like #39 in line in que but you get into the game so quickly? part of it is because yes there are people who actually logging out, but the other part is some poor soul got booted.... and might be in a raid or something.

Honesty my solution is to ask politely once for everyone to roll need once. If that doesn't work. After wards I say in Allie chat I can play this game too or fine I'm going to the bathroom. Some excuse and I walk away irl if they want to play the waiting game I play it. I can pop a YouTube vid or something. Hell sometimes I'll even sit my character down before I walk away to try to put the point across.dont let them waste your time. You waste thiers.

I'd be happy with a reduced timer. However, I'd also like to see orchestrion drops have an option to just tell you if you have it already or not, or just block people from Needing on music they already have. I honestly spend more time looking that up than anything else at the end of Copied Factory runs.

I wish that for all the rolls, minions, mounts, and whatever else that you use to add to a list. Just one line to tell you you already learned it.

I would love this. I'm tired of players holding loot hostage. No, waiting last second to roll doesn't guarantee you the item. Duh.

If it makes you feel better(i doubt it will), theres a decent chance that you just lost the roll legitimately. If the entire alliance was rolling for the mini then a 93 roll will only be enough to win around 1/3 of the time. It seems like a great roll on the surface, but with 23 other people also rolling its usually not enough to win(with 24 rolls total, a 93 is often a 3rd or 4th place finish). Now obviously, in your case there wasnt a full alliance rolling so the odds are better. But even at like half an alliance(so 12 rolls - a reasonable amount for how long the raid has been out) a 93 is still roughly a 50/50 shot to win. Obviously too late now, but if that happened to me id have tried to ask someone who was there with me what the winning roll was.

The only "fair" way around this is to play them at their own game. Having a reduced end of duty timer is a great idea but it would mean extra dev time taken from other things. Yep it sucks and is not limited to raids - happens in levelling dungeons too where they drop stuff people want for GC seals I guess. I'd just say something in chat about having all the time in the world to wait on them rolling and then watch something on Netflix on the iPad.

Yeah, I hate that. If I'm healing and I don't make it in time so be it. I need at least 3 seconds to look at the loot.

The roll timer is to accommodate people loading, in cutscenes or disconnecting.
You can argue that it's not currently optimal, but shifting it too far either way puts out people on the other side.

Arguing to shorten it "to make people roll faster so I can get out" is just impatience and greed.
People will always abuse things like this, but you can't throw the intended targets under the bus to punish the scabbers.

If you can't spare 2 minutes to get the peice of loot you just fought 10+ minutes for, I don't know what to say.

There are some legitimate uses for waiting to roll through. I personally give it about 30s before rolling on my desired piece of a loot-locked raid, while I instantly pass on what I don't want.
This way, people rolling on everything or multiple things can win what I've passed and I (plus anyone else who wants the same peice) get a better shot at the one I do want.

I'd also like to vote in that roll timers should be reduced significantly as well except for areas where cutscenes are very long but adjusted accordingly. OR once you roll you can leave and if it happens you get it, you'll receive it unless your inventory is full.
