Not to take away the steam against the other spells like missile, but when I did my grind bosses were always dead before doom hit 6 seconds left. Was a wasted cast most of the time due to the roaming death ball of players.

I'll try to summerize what I see to be the issue.
Let's say I play BLU.
Why would I play BLU? My guess is I do because:
- unique gameplay.
- All skills always available.
- Skills power.
The counterpart for this overall overpower that could potentially break the balance of the game is I can't play BLU in many content. But I can do FATEs. This is even the content I am supposed to do!
Now, let's say we're before 5.3:
I'm playing BLU. I'm having a break from other classes/jobs and I just wanna enjoy BLU. So I go out and start killing everything I find. I test skills, I test combos and then... KAPOW! CRASH! BAM! VRONK!
And after a while I stop and play some other class/job.
Well, there is already a potential issue here.
With my BLU, I'm doing solo content, I chase the world while most other players run instanced content and still there is a potential issue here.
A potential theoratical issue.
Let's consider some nice random fellow one moment. For some log or Mark hunt, he's waiting at a FATE spot. He knows his target shows up within a FATE and he's waiting for that FATE to pop. He's been waiting for some time so he's chatting, getting a coffee, checking web pages... Anything that implies he's not ready to engage the FATE at the very moment it pops. But, hey, it's just a FATE, no one is around. What could possibly go wrong? He's at the FATE's location!
Now here I come.
I'm spraying rampage and disaster over every FATEs I encounter. No one is around, the map is mine and I'm enjoying my BLU as much as I can imagine. Then one rare FATE pops right on me! I look around, see no one engaging it... KAPOW! CRASH! BAM! VRONK!
And here I'm gone.
And our nice random fellow just saw it's long awaited FATE vanish before he could even take his controller back.
Now, let's say we're 5.3 day1:
The very first event implying FATEs I can do since BLU exists! (I honestly don't know. Let's say instead: )
The very first event implying FATEs I can do since I can play BLU!
THE VERY FIRST EVENT I CAN DO WITH MY BLU!
We can all imagine the unstoppable smile distorting my face, can we?
And we can all imagine the impatience, the urgency that I feel at the idea of being able, finally !, to play an event WITH MY BLU!
Why would I wait?! Why should I wait? Could you wait?
The rest, we know it.
BLUs can KAPOW! CRASH! BAM! VRONK! while others can, well, not.
The issue is this:
This FATE farming event looks like an event specifically meant for players to enjoy BLU. (And enjoy the "flying everywhere" that came along with.)
It's an event where BLUs can shine doing all their skills.
But it is not an event for BLUs. Like any previous events, it is for all players.
Having BLUs and others share an event breaks the balance of the game.
Asking BLU players not to use all of their skills is like asking them not to take full advantage of their BLU. It could limit the balance issue, sure, but at the cost of BLU players just not enjoying it.
Asking non-BLU players to play BLU or to group with BLU is not a solution either.
Asking anyone to wait is not a solution either. Whether it is day1 or in a month, the issue will remain.
Hence this:
Having BLUs and others share an event breaks the balance of the game. Having BLUs and others each have their own time grants everyone the possibility to fully enjoy the event.

So, how's the event going?
Are BLUs still ruining the event for everyone? Just curious.
Personally i got my goofy cat couch on the third day and have never done a single FATE in the ARR/HW zone since.
Nah it died down pretty quick. I mostly see Fate party in StB areas now for the last handful of medals
Did this event for the very first time, took about 451ish fates and got it done in 2 days... like literally the Wednesday night after the patch dropped. They buffed this event in such an amazing way that a newcomer could completely steam roll it. If they make it any easier they might as well just hand you the weapons and the mounts.
Dear BLUs, you are amazing and I'm so grateful for you on Midgard. You made this terribly grind bearable and melted the fates!

The event is really fun so far.
I've done just like 25 SB fates to get the 20 medals.
BLU could even do the SB fates solo without a problem.
Now I'm in the ARR area and I can just 1 shot fates without anyone complaining, because no one is doing them.
I don't know why everyone was complaining.

Now, everyone save this thread for the next time an event causes a slew of complaints that players can't all get something finished on day 1.
Because they wanted it done immediately, rather than later. You know, the usual. The event is really fun so far.

Can I complain about the lack on complaining in this thread now?
