I posted some earlier this forum if you scroll down a bit, but explained them on my lala blog
Sorry I don't check roll down before. I was a bit distracted. Why I posted here...I posted some earlier this forum if you scroll down a bit, but explained them on my lala blog
Well, thank you! I will trying

Just my personal opinion, but I feel so sad about this. Not sure if anyone else feel the same.
The brashgold and Defthand solvent kind of through me for a loop with the higher Difficulty and HQ. I can only 80% hq on them which is no biggie I dont really need them at HQ as I can HQ the others. I could throw some more Control and CP on my 460 to give the little boost that I need but not going to bother. Besides short on Materia so need to stock up and save what I have left.
PSA- I am a moron have not crafted in over a month. Didnt notice I was using NQ food *facepalm* source of all my problems lol

Here, try this. You'll need 654 CP, but it pushes high quality when it finishes - my sets and tools are max melded and I use HQ chili crab, any cunning craftsmans tea/syrup, and the free company buff In Control 2, and it can't push a result lower than 6181 quality, which is around 950 skybuilders points. You get more if you get some good procs, maxing out happens around a third of the time. Enjoy your free 500k achievements!
...I'm not sure that the stat requirements are what Camie was refering to...
Personally I feel sad about its even being possible that those expert recipes can be macro-crafted by people who dont have the faintest idea how to actually craft and make use of their skills. It was quite nice to have some recipes - at least for a while - that were really meant as a puzzle for people with crafting-puzzle-solving-minds, while 99% of all recipes can be macro-crafted by pretty much anyone whos able to copy&paste and hit two buttons (so my guess would be anyone over the age of 4). Expert recipes werent meant for those people, they were meant as a challenge for people who really enjoy crafting and arent only in it for the rewards or think they have to do it because its something else to do...
But oh well - I'll take comfort in the thought that come tuesday and patch 5.31 those expert recipes will be outdated, the reward for turning them in will be minimal and we'll hopefully get new expert recipes that cant be macro'd straight away (...I know they will be, eventually...)
Crafting is a math puzzle at heart. There's always going to be some set of variables that will successfully solve it, especially when we've got conditions to improve luck....I'm not sure that the stat requirements are what Camie was refering to...

On the other hand, even Aurida's sample should only give a 50% success rate despite the stat requirements listed. For that to succeed, you need 3 of 4 successful Rapid Synthesis at the end. Only get 2 and you're out of Durability, resulting in failure.
Most players I know wouldn't be willing to accept that much failure chance, let alone pentameld their gear so they could get Aurida's listed stats after food/medicine. There will always be some who don't care as long as they get what the want in the end.
I think my biggest disappointment with Expert is that SE didn't set the bar extremely high for 100% collectability. 200k would have been better than 64k. That would have left room for crafters to really show their ability to react to and make the most of the changing conditions.
No crafter in the game would ever hit 100% with it at 200k. There are mathematical limitations even with perfect rng and solid choices you would run out of dur and cp long before you came close to 200k. Bumping up to 100k would be more reasonable and still in the realm of reachable.Crafting is a math puzzle at heart.
