THIS..
I don't even need a list.. I just need to be able to mouseover something and get a tooltip that tells me whether I have it or not. Not just for my benefit.. but the people who lost things to me because I rolled just to make sure if I didn't have it I got it this time.
If the system can keep me from buying things that I have already, why can't there just be a marker that says "already known".
WHERE IS THIS KETTLE EVERYONE KEEPS INTRODUCING ME TO?
Agreed. It's insane that seven years in this still isn't a thing. As tooltip info goes, "have I leaned this" is a million times useful than "is there currently one in my inventory". That goes for anything learnable. Mounts, minions, rolls, bardings, TT cards, emotes, hairstyles, master books... the works.
For reference, here's what a WoW mount tooltip looks like. There are no questions about whether or not you already have it.

Yes please! This needs to be a thing! It would even reduce the amount of time people are rolling for items, putting less strain on servers because the instance is free from players. This savings adds up over time.Agreed. It's insane that seven years in this still isn't a thing. You can store all yokai glam in the armoire. They fixed the ones that couldn't in 5.31.I resubbed just to finish off the Yokai event, and the lack of a real wardrobe feature was profoundly disappointing. I can name several games that handle cosmetic gear/glamors in much better ways than this one, and I'm pretty sure most of them are much older. In 2020, there's no excuse to not have a tooltip indication saying that you already own an item/minion/song or have added its appearance to your collection. Think about all the space you'd save server-side on a per character basis if you didn't have to have your armoire store actual items, but instead was a series of data flags for gear appearances. It's also ridiculous that silly weapons like the Yokai set are actual items that take up actual inventory space.
