Re-enable Housing Demolition!

I stand by what I said. You can try to shame me all you want. There are alternative ways to compensate people hurt by disasters without punishing the current players. Instead of turning off auto-demolition (the easy fix), they could simply offer a full refund of the housing cost + all items lost for the same period of time. These kinds of solutions should be explored and implemented.

If you are struggling to get a house then you would know very well that having enough gil to buy a house is meaningless if there is no house to buy. But I get the impression that you don't care if someone else is in your current position as long as you find a way out of it.

I agree but yours is worse. You're actually advocating for kicking people while they're down just so you can get one of their houses for yourself. That's...off-putting to say the least.
