Please add trigger warnings to intense moments in the MSQ

was about to take it as an actual thread, but then i noticed he also made one about novice network which is basicaly the equivalent of passing some meat to really hungry dogs and watching them fight amongst them. He just needs to make one more about dungeon pulls and the holy trinity of OF peak will be achieved. I wonder is this titanmen ? did he get self aware when they mentioned his hyurs

So instead of trying to solve issues, you decided to call the people discussing how we can move forward as a community from the rampant transphobia and homophobia "hungry dogs". Maybe that is the real reason why these issues persist to this day.

Well, the FC this character is in on Malboro has the same name as the FC his Char on Jenova is in so.... And its not like the tag and FC name are common. It'd be one HELL of a coincidence. Plus all the other "bank" characters in that fc have his usual naming schemes.

Have you gotten to Shadowbringers yet? there is a very horrifying scenes in there compared. I recommend talking to players who have played the story and who are familiar of your triggers. And ask what quests and scenes you should prepare for.

Yes, the Titania scene was in Shadowbringers. This thread showed me what is more horrifying than any MSQ quest is the community though, who spends their time trolling people with genuine concern for disabilities and have nothing better to do than to mock them like saying I'm from a Californian university or joking about trigger warnings.

Because this game's themes of friendship, determination, and hope is a universal theme for all. Horror game tropes like jumpscares don't really belong in the game and seem very weird considering the wider themes of this game.

The game is also about war, and the horrors of war, which has pretty much been a theme since ARR, not as graphic as recently I admit. But no Final Fantasy game has ever been sunshine and roses. There are games I can't play because they are too stressful and that's ok it's not for me. But when you are triggered, it triggers a panic attack/anxiety attack, every health professional would tell you to avoid playing the game. The game has ratings already that warns you of the content. A warning in the game will not stop a trigger if you just continue playing it.

I watched that and laughed. To me it felt like a comically inept attempt at a scare and I only recognized it as an "attempt" because I read your post first. If I had watched it without reading your post I might have rolled my eyes or yawned or laughed or had no reaction at all... just another bunch of pixels. I certainly wouldn't have believed anyone could have reacted differently from me.

Your triggers may not be other people's triggers just like their triggers may not be triggers for you. The game comes with a rating, which I doubt any player over the age of 10 pays any attention to but its there. To ask for warnings before every cutscene on the off chance that the contents might just trigger someone would just bog down the game with some truly tedious messages we would all have to click through.

I don't think I will ever understand what OP is going through, I do think it's a significant minority and it's hard to conceive that a condition like this couldn't just be fixed by "tough it up buttercup" but it's something I know nothing about so maybe it's a real issue that people have. SE does attempt to accommodate whenever they can regardless though. I believe an option could be enabled for things like these because for most of us, we are excited to see the unexpected whether it's violent or a moment of betrayal. I don't think there are many who could understand what OP is going through so it might seem like an odd request but I think that an option that could be enabled would resolve the issue at hand.
