You’re not locked out of anything. Just level up a DoH and you’ll have access to the content. It’s just that simple.

It's incredibly unfair that DOL are locked out of content when there's no good reason for it in the first place, especially in 2020 when the game is making more of an effort to include people. The Namazu beast tribe was open to both DOH and DOL, meaning everybody got to join in and have fun. DOL have a right to enjoy the content too and enjoy the rewards like the tank mount. Leveling crafters is prohibitively expensive and a massive gil sink, don't punish players that would rather gather to save money instead.

All the time I spent leveling my FSH has gone to waste now because they can't just let gatherers do their thing.

Neither is unfair. If you want to do the dwarves, level a crafter. I got my CRP to level 70 in like a week and a half in preparation for the dwarf quests.

Leveling crafters is not expensive at all. It is very cheap - if you do all the gathering yourself. You don't have anything against gathering I presume?

... Go level a crafter. Same way you can't access the Tank role story if you don't level a tank.. you cannot access crafter content without a crafter. You have so many to choose from.

You have the same opportunity (some would say even more so than in the past) to level the same jobs.

Ironically, gatherers are LESS cost intensive to level than crafters. Miner and botanist are pretty pain free to level as long as you go the patience.
